NJTL of Indianapolis invites you to join us for our special events.
NJTL Advanced Tryouts - NEW this summer!
In order to play in NJTL's Advanced Program this summer, NJTL's Program Director and/or Advanced Instructor will have to approve participation. Your child should plan on being there for the entire two-hour time period:
Saturday, May 12, 9 to 11 a.m. @ Marian University (3200 Cold Spring Road) (Please note, this is a new location as the Riverside location will be hosting the girls city tennis tournament on May 12)
14th Annual Arthur Ashe Essay and Art Contest
Enter and you could win a trip to New York City for Arthur Ashe Kid's Day! But don't delay - the contest ends at 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, June 1, 2012. If you are an NJTL participant, then write or draw your answer to the following question:
"If Arthur Ashe were alive today, what do you think would give him hope?"

2012 Walking for Dreams Family & Pet Walk on the Downtown Canal
Please join us in this 5K walk to raise money for NJTL programs
Location: Downtown Canal (11th and Senate)
Date: Sunday, June 3
Registration: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Walk Starts: 2:00 p.m.
Walk ends and Ceremony: 3:30 p.m.
Mark your calendars now for this event and begin recruiting teams or plan to walk as an individual. Help raise funds to keep NJTL program costs low. You may register now and begin collecting pledges.
People may support you in three easy ways:
Make a donation on-line via credit card
Give you cash
Write a check made out to NJTL of Indianapolis
Refreshments and entertainment will be provided at the event. We look forward to seeing you there!
2012 On-site Registration
If you were unable to register by mail or online by May 29, you may register on-site either of the following days:
Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to noon
Monday, June 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Registration will take place at the tennis courts at these seven NJTL locations only:
Broad Ripple Park, 1550 Broad Ripple Avenue
Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center, 7320 W 10th Street
Ellenberger Park, 5301 E St. Clair Street
Garfield Park, 2450 S Shelby Street
Lawrence North High School, 7802 Hague Road
Perry Park, 451 E Stop 11 Road
Tarkington Park, 45 W 40th Street
If you wan to sign up to play at one of the following locations, please note the appropriate registration location:
Beech Grove High School - Register at Garfield Park
Broadway Park - Register at Broad Ripple Park
Brookside Park - Register at Ellenberger Park
Decatur Central High School - Register at Perry Park
Greene Park - Register at Ellenberger Park
Lincoln Middle School - Register at Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center
Perry Meridian Middle School - Register at Perry Park
Riverside Park - Register at Tarkington Park
You may also register at the individual NJTL sites once classes begin. However, please note that we are not at every location on every day of the week. Please be sure that we are scheduled to hold classes on the day you go to register.
