450 Students Take Part In IPS Fall League

Our annual IPS Fall Tennis League began with a Kickoff Event on Aug. 23 at Arlington Middle School, with the five-week league starting on Sept. 6 at Arlington, Arsenal Tech High School and Ellenberger Park. More than 450 K–5 students from 21 IPS elementary schools have been introduced to the fundamentals of tennis through fun drills, match play, and teamwork. With the support of school coaches, dedicated volunteers, and NJTL instructors, these young players are building skills that go far beyond the court.

A big thank-you to the partners and supporters who help make this program possible: USTA Foundation, USTA Central Indiana, USTA Midwest, and the Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation. We’re grateful for your commitment to opening doors for Indy youth.
