We finished off another successful summer session with two End of Summer Tournaments at Marian University and Garfield Park. This summer was unlike any other, but we were glad we were able to hold classes after delaying the start by a month. Participants’ hands and racquets were sanitized before every class and social distancing was put into effect, which helped lead to a safe summer on the courts! Our popular summer session included: five weeks of tennis, four Match Play Thursdays, the USTA Foundation NJTL Essay Contest, a “Love to Read” reading challenge, two End of Summer Tournaments and a free field trip to STEM Connection’s farm.
