All 2024 NJTL of Indianapolis participants are strongly encouraged to take part in the USTA Foundation’s 2024 NJTL Essay Contest! If your essay is selected as a winning entry by the judges, you could be one of ten (10) national winners who win a trip for you and a parent/legal guardian to New York City. NJTL of Indianapolis has had two national winners in the past eight years!
This year there are two different questions, depending on the age of the writer.
For ages 8-12, the question is: “In your opinion, who is the greatest of all time and why?”
For ages 13-18, the questions are: “What qualities & attributes elevate an individual to the greatest of all time? Who do you consider the greatest of all time in your life? Share a personal story about this individual and describe how they impacted you.”
The contest closes on June 11, 2024.
We will be emailing you more information about the essay contest, including key tips to help your child. Be on the lookout for those emails — you won’t want to miss these tips.
How to submit your child’s essay:
- Download this form (English version / Spanish version), print it out, fill out the entire form with your signature, and return to your child’s instructor or email to Executive Director Dax Lowery at dax@indynjtl.org by June 11. We must have a physical copy of this form, with signature, for you to submit the essay.
